| So, two days ago was graduation and the end of the school year. Hmm...
It was definitely a bittersweet thing. I kind of didn't want the year to end, I'll admit. I wanted classes to end, certainly. But I'm still not sure I was ready to leave the people. I mean, half of the people I know aren't going to be there next year. There are some people that I'm seriously going to miss. I mean, there'll be fun, new, interesting people there next year. I'll like being a senior, I'm sure. But I still don't know. >_>
Well, summer will be fun, I guess. I start my research a week from today. XD I get to spend nine or so hours a day sitting in a room with three Linux computers programming and running galaxy collision simulations. I'm a little worried, cos I'm coming in knowing so little. But it'll be fun. Also, I found out when I came home that it's almost guaranteed that we'll get to go to Gulf Shores this year to the shiny new Halekai III. I must admit that I'm already looking forward to that. I want to get a lot of reading done. And just waste some time. But I get the feeling that my mom is going to have me going with random chores and crap all the time. On top of that I've had a huge problem with artists/writers block for like, the last month.
Eh, I'm being weird and mopey. Sorry. I'm gonna go eat some toffee.

| So, some fun things:
Today was the last day of classes. Of course that means exams...But whatever. It's a step forward.
Okay, so I realize that I probably should have posted this next little bit of news earlier. I've known since the Friday before prom, actually. My mom's gonna have another kid.  I get to be an older sister again. But I won't even have to change all that many diapers cos I'll be at school. The kid'll be born in November. All I hope is that he/she (we don't know the gender yet) won't be born while I'm in Nashville. Cos I'm gonna be in Nashville from the 8-10 (I think) for a meeting of the southeastern chapter of the American Physical Society to present part of my research. It might be rather fun, but I'm still a little nervous about it. So my November's gonna be crazy, but fun.
Can't wait for research. Running simulations and learning Linux. Galaxy collisions ftw.
